Distribution : China, India West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh).

DIAGNOSTIC CHARACTERS (Taxonomic) :

Characters : Medium size lacewing; ground colour pale green.

Head : Vertex raised; palpi whitish; eyes deep red. Antenna shorter than fore wing; scape bulbous.

Thorax : Pronotum longer than broad, slightly narrowed anteriorly; a median longitudinal and a posterior transverse sulci clotted with long, white hairs present; legs whitish, tarsi yellowish, claws with basal dilation.

Fore wing (Fig. A) : Broad; membrane transparent; venation pale green; costal area narrow at base; margin with fringes of whitish or pale yellow hairs; costal veinlets are dusky-blackish at their upper ends; black spots on some crossveins; two series of unparallel gradate veinlets; ten to twelve inner and ten to fifteen outer gradates.

Abdomen (B, C) : Pale green; setae long; ectoproct with deep apical invagination.

Genitalia ♂(D) : Gonarcus narrow, elongate; arcessus tapering apically with small apical tooth; tignum, gonapsis absent; bilobed median plate.

Genitalia ♀(E) : Subgenitalebilobed apically; praegenitale absent; spermatheca broad, rounded; duct short, expanded ventrally.

Measurements of one specimen ♂ : Length of fore wing 18.21 mm, length of hind wing 16.04 mm.

Material examined: 1 ♂ , 2 ♀: India, West Bengal, Sandakfu, 30. VI. 2018. Coll. S. R. Dey.

Remarks : The species is reported for the first time from West Bengal, India. Moreover the aphidophagous nature of the species is recorded for the first time.
